About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Sell My Phone buyback service, operated by Sell My Phone, 55 Gloucester Road, Bristol, BS7 8AD. By submitting a device for purchase, you agree to these terms in full. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our service.

The Buyback Process

When you submit a quote, you will receive a price based on the information you provide. This price is subject to confirmation upon inspection of the device. You must describe your device accurately, including any faults, damage, or account locks. If the device does not match your description, we reserve the right to revise the offer or return the device at your cost.

Device Condition and Grading

Devices are assessed against your original description. The following factors affect the final price:

• Screen condition including cracks, scratches, or burn marks
• Battery health and performance
• Camera, button, and speaker functionality
• Network lock status and account activation locks
• Cosmetic condition of the body and frame

Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer to the account details you provide. Payment is processed on the same day the device passes inspection. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect bank details. If a revised offer is made and you do not respond within 14 days, the device may be processed at the revised price or returned.

Data and Privacy

You are responsible for backing up your data and removing personal accounts before sending your device. We will securely wipe all remaining data from devices we purchase. See our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your personal data.

Ownership and Legal

By selling a device to us, you confirm that you are the legal owner and have the right to sell it. Selling stolen devices is illegal and will be reported to the appropriate authorities. We reserve the right to refuse any transaction we believe to be fraudulent or where we have concerns about the legitimacy of the device.

We may update these terms and conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
